Upon arrival in SF-if going to Alcatraz-book early!! There is so much to do in San Francisco that you need to prioritize where you'll go and what you'll do with how many days you'll be there. China Town is terriffic and riding there on the cable cars is a must! We had rented a car so we went to Muir's woods where you can walk amongst the red woods and see nature at it's best. You cross the GGB and its a spectacular view of SF. We went to Haight/Ashbury and also saw the Five Sisters on Alamo square. All very touristy but oh so San Francisco. I need to go back again and again and again to see and do more report a problem
