On our last trip out to San Francisco, we took this fabulous walking tour of the Victorian homes in Pacific Heights. We met our tour guide near the visitors center and continued on from there by bus and on foot. She explained the various architectural features of the homes and why these beautiful old homes have survived all these years. We even were able to tour a Victorian B&B and all it's splendor. At the end of the tour she offered advice on where to go to grab lunch. We walked a couple of blocks and had a great lunch, did a little shopping before catching a city bus back to Union Square. Those beautiful photos of the Victorian homes we took on our tour are enjoyed everyday as screen savers on our computer. For something different from the standard tourist attractions try this tour. Get more information from their website: www.victorianwalk.com My husband and I will definitely take this tour again and strongly recommend you try it too. report a problem
