Chez Panisse Restaurant and Café, Berkeley
Not great!

I have eaten at Chez Panisse three times (just because some friends invited me) and I think it is completely overrated, pretentious and ridiculously expensive for what they offer. I don' t even think the food tastes great and the portions are way to small, even for a fancy restaurant! The three times I dined there I left pretty disappointed. I know it's organic and the menu changes every day, etc. etc., but still it isn't worth it to me. So next time my friends want to treat me to Chez Panisse, I will gracefully decline.
