Best Pastry Shop in Messina, Sicily!

While in Messina, we went to the best little pastry shop, recommended by Tom, our port lecturer, called IIlli's. (It might be Elli's. Can't remember for sure!) The canolli are hand made right there. If you ask for a chocolate canolli, you have to wait while they make it. It comes out warm and beautiful! They are the best we've ever had! It is a very small shop, and not hard to find if you are on a cruise and across the street from the city. Just write this name down, give it to a shop owner and they will direct you! They sell wine and candy as well, but no coffee so you have to walk down a few shops to a bar and order your coffee. Some of the passengers bought a whole bag to take back on board. We would not have known about this little place without our port lecturer! report a problem
