A tiny Venetian shipping port on the adriatic coast, Piran is an interesting mix of Italian and Slovenian culture (the street signs are printed in both languages). It's a pretty little town to spend an afternoon and sample some great seafood. On word of caution: the beaches are rather rocky and contained a lot of jellyfish in June. Might be wise to wear your swimsuit, unlike the locals! report a problem
