South Africa is known for its whale colonies that come to breed near the shores. However, this means that the whales come at the same periods each year - the best whale watching is said to be in spring-early winter (october-early december), that's when you are almost guaranteed to see the whales. So if some coach is telling you that they can take you on whale watching during sumer or autumn (january-july), they are probably tricking you. Beware! report a problem
