We Love Saline, except for the long hike up the hill, covered in old stumps and rocks, and ankle high sand you have to traverse to even get to the beautiful beach and tourquoise water. Keep in mind the locals like to frequent the area as well, and on one occasion one got fresh with my significant other, but I set him straight. We are only able to go every two years because of the expense, but the trip is not complete until we go at least 3 to 4 times per week, for our celebratory swim in the beautiful water of Saline. Our first visit to Saline back in 2000 was quite eventful as we got to the beach, a surprise shower started but quickly ended after about 3 minutes of a downpour, and got beautiful afterwards. The secret is to bring an umbrella for the sun which can get intense, and make a day of it with some snacks. Make sure you clean up after yourselves, and use the butt kits provided at the bottom of the hill. Happy Vacationing.....
