St. Barths see + do

Besides shopping, eating, and dancing on tables, there's not much to do in St. Barths besides go to the beach — for which activity, the island is supremely well prepared. Of the island's 22 beaches, we've described our favorites here. All are open to the public and each has its own personality. Some are close to town; others require a hike or boat ride. Nudity is technically prohibited, but islanders turn the other cheek to topless (and sometimes bottomless) activities. For maximum exposure, locals and visitors head to secluded Grande Saline and Gouverneur beaches.
