Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center, Nashville
Stay there, but don't eat there

The Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center has excellent room rates, but their food is ungodly expensive. The steaks are overpriced, the breakfast buffet is overpriced, all the food is overpriced. If you have no other choice, take the room, and eat at the food court at the mall next door. If you are planning a convention in Nashville, The Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center is a much better choice. The rooms are more expensive, but there are many more restaurants available within walking distance.
