Ponte Vecchio (The old bridge) (Must walk along during day. Shop and buy some of the faous Gold Jewlwry it is known for!) San Lorenzo Market (Located on many streets, great market where you can find cheap everything from the “Ciao Bella T-shirts to jewelry to leather goods.) (Located on Via Dell Ariento and Via S. Antonino...you will be able to find it…many streets are crowded with carts) Churches or Main Squares to visit: Piazza del Duomo (Brunelesschi’s duomo-the outside is more beautiful then the inside of the church therefore just look at the outside…You should walk through the adjacent Baptistery…the ceiling is gorgeous. See the famous gold doors on the Baptistery.) Piazza Signoria also called Palazzo Vecchio (FAKE David, but location where the original once stood) (Close to the Uffizi gallery. This piazza is gorgeous and great places to eat.) Piazza Della Repubblica (Big archway, Hotel Savoy, la renascente-Italys department store-top floor is a café, with a great view of square) Piazza Santa Croce (The first Franciscan church) (Michelangelo's burial site is inside the church) Piazzale Michelangelo (Beautiful view of all of Florence) Santa Maria Novella Basilica (The great Dominican church) report a problem
