We're trying to find an apartment in a villa or small cottage within 30-40mins of Florence in any compass direction, in any town or out of for a week from late December to end December. Anyone who's done the search will know there's a plethora of choice but most places seem woefully the same. Budget is around $100 per night. Ideally we want a separate bedroom, proper kitchen, a fireplace in a lounge area, reasonable heating costs and a well decorated place. We're serious about the aesthetics. It has to be good not just adequate. If I see any more draped tables I'll scream! report a problem
