we were so excited to find this property to conde naste... and the day before we were scheduled to arrive we received an email saying they had a problem with their broiler and had to cancel our room. they offered us a substandard room at their country property for the same rate! half the room, no view and 15 minutes from town - at the same rate? TERRIBLE customer service and they wouldn't even allow me to speak to the manager directly. we were VERY disappointed, but DID find a great property in town for the same rate - hotel giotto...
