To break away from the cranes and construction, we found the Jazira Beach Club a fantastic getaway from Dubai. Only about 10 minutes out of Dubai, towards Abu Dhabi, you can lounge in beach chairs, play in beautiful blue water and sip cocktails by the Gulf. One of our friends who is a local recommended visiting, and it was the highlight of our trip! We got to wakeboard, jump on the trampoline and relax in the sun. Highly recommended! http://www.jazirabeachclub.com Insider tip, if you walk to the left of the beach, instead of entering through the hotel, you can avoid the entrance fee. The Jazira Beach Club is privately owned, so they do not charge a fee individually to access their beach. Simply park on the street and follow the canal down to the beach. Make sure to walk to the left of the resort, then enter the beach to your right. This is totally legal-- just remember to bring your own towels! Enjoy! report a problem
