I use to live in the US Virgin Islands for many years and still visit the island of St.Croix where I once resided. I now travel there about every 2 years. All of the local food places have become rather pricey because of their town location and hotel food is over priced and just tasteless. For those of you who would like to have an experience, try the Juan Louis Hospital cafeteria.Surprisingly the food is good, fresh cooked daily by the island local cooks. Get there early around 11:30am /noon before the food runs out. A friend turned me on to this and I tried it. Brought back old memories of good good food. Also try , believe it or not, KMART down west end toward Fredericksted. They have a small sit down cafeteria serving up local food also. Great prices at lunch time. report a problemPosted on: August 21, 2009 at 11:44PM
