I have been to Caribbean many times & to St. John countless times. I discovered P & P's last year. It is the best authentic Caribbean food I have ever eaten. Call in advance or you'll be lucky to get left overs. But the left overs are delicious. Some locals don't even know about it. It's past Cruz Bay. Just ask for Moorehead Point.
