Venice in mid-October

We will be starting our cruise in Venice on Oct 12th and I am unsure of what to where...will the weather be in the mid 70's or colder... also, we are looking for a local restaurant for dinner...we are italian so we would like a more local atmosphere instead of touristy? report a problem

It is cold in Venice because it is on the water. I would bring a warm jacket and warm clothes. I do not know much about the restaurants. All Italian food is pretty much the same. If you are on a cruise ship they will serve food.
