The only way to visit and see the real venice, is to stay a week. Book a room or apartment directly from a local as i did, go to the local stores, local bars, away from tourist traps and see what a beautiful people the venicians really are. I felt right at home. Got a week long water bus ticket and visited all of the islands and did a pub crawl with locals. wow!!! report a problem
