If at all possible plan your trip around the weather. When it rains a lot the streets and the square are flooded, smetimes a foot deep. It makes the trip a lot less appealing. more
Venice is a beautiful city surrounded by water. Venice is a tourist town. I have visited Venice many times and always have trouble staying comfortable. I would bring a warm jacket...more
