If you rent a car, make sure you find out about the parking restrictions. You need a permit to park almost eerywhere and there are different permits for differnet areas of the city! You will get a ticket as they police this incredibly well and there are no no parking signs in any language! So make sure you hae all the needed permits. you also need a pass to take your car on the autoban (highway) most car rental agencies would proide this, but always check to make sure. You can purchase them at any gas station. A better way to go which needs no pass is to go on the back roads.Get a good map and hae fun. It takes longer, but you get to see the beautiful countryside, castles, quaint cities along the way which are incredible and you only get brief sights of from the highway. report a problem
