Dalat - A Vietnam Ghost Town

Posted on: May 6, 2011 at 11:28PM

by Haivan
With its perennial cool weather, pine-clad valleys and weathered but elegant French hilltop villas, Dalat is Vietnamís premier hill station. The cool climate, clean air and escape from the heat and congestion of Saigon provide a perfect destination for couples seeking romance. For Saigonese, It is absolute right ! At an altitude about 1,500, the cool, hilly terrain is fantastic for mountain biking, trekking, canyoning, kayaking, rappelling and rock climbing. Trips cater to everyone from the inexperienced beginner, to the experienced pro looking for a challenge. Personally, I love to see busy Dalat market in early morning with full of vege. and flowers. Stay few days in Truc Lam Zen meditation could be a great experience for ones who stay for slow life in few days. It reminds you about the book - Eat Love Pray. For nature lovers, dont forget to spend time for hiking/ cycling at Dalat suburbans areas. Some ones said - Dalat is a Vietnam ghost town. Once you see them, please email me.
