Just across the street from the Hotel de Ville, this small shop has piled up numerous awards for its shimmering lacquerware products, which include plates, bowls, picture frames, and bathroom sets. Another specialty is small, intricate boxes, often made from rosewood. Two blocks away, a second NGA outlet sells lighting fixtures, from Japanese-style square table lamps to floor lamps with shades fashioned from colored beads or handmade rice paper (103 Le Thanh Ton St.; 84-8-823-3288).
