Buildings and cottages, in a hamlet 70 miles from Washington, D.C., are interspersed among gardens and have antiques and fine bed linens. "The food is something you will never forget," with a contemporary American menu that includes truffle-dusted Maine diver scallops with cauliflower puree. Sheep pens will be added in the spring of 2010.
