Concierge.com's insider take:
Less majestic than the Bristol, but certainly homier. A brief stroll from the city center, in the attractive business district, Warsaw's first boutique hotel opened in 2003, but the Belle Époque exterior and Art Deco interior impart a far more established ambience. Furniture and fittings discreetly blend originals and reproductions, and the 44 bedrooms are outfitted in a variety of '20s and '30s styles, recalling Warsaw's heyday between the world wars. Resident chef Kurt Scheller is renowned for bringing a lighter touch and broader palate to Varsovian cuisine. Like the decor, his distinctive menu is elegant and international.
