Park your rental car and use the Metro Syetem. Visitors can travel throughout the DC Metro (VA,MD,DC) easiler and quicker. Traveling via the metro will save you money on gas, car rental, parking, "traffic", possible parking/speeding tickets, and save you time. It would be best to purchase a day pass or week pass. If you plan to stay for more than 2 weeks I would invest in a SmarTrip card to you can transfer from the Train and bus with ease. You really don't need a car in the DC Metro. Also, can stay in Arlington or Alexandria to reduce the cost of your stay(hotel) report a problemPosted on: November 19, 2008 at 4:49PM
