The National Zoo is one of the best places to visit in D.C. and it's free! Save yourself the cost of parking and take the Metro, but do not get off at the Woodley Park Zoo-Adams Morgan stop because you'll have to go up uphill the whole way. Instead get off at the Cleveland Park stop and go south on Connecticut Avenue. report a problem
