While the Metro is a great alternative, you may find yourself driving and parking (or trying to) in Washington, D.C. If you park, double, no, triple check the parking regulation signs. Many of them are extremely faded and difficult to reas, but that does not exempt you from the rules. If you park in a "no parking" zone, or a zone that changes to "no parking", you will be fined ($100) and quite possibly towed - not a fun way to end the day. report a problem
