Jacksonites used to drive over Teton Pass to Dubois, Wyoming—on sometimes icy roads—for this upscale Italian restaurant's cozze mie (mussels in red- or white-wine sauce), Rocky Mountain rib eye, and bagna cauda (a “warm bath” of olive oil, garlic, and anchovy paste, with seasonal raw vegetables for dipping). It moved here in 2000, saving locals from getting stuck in a snowy ditch, but the food and ambience have remained true to form: Expect Genovese and Piedmontese dishes served up in an unpretentious setting of large tables and hardwood floors.

Closed Mondays.
